Roller Skating FAQs

What should I bring? 

Socks are required for all skate rentals. 🧦🧦 

Helmets and elbow pads are welcome but not available on site.

How much are roller skates? 

$10. Roller Skate Rentals are provided by Retro Rollers (not included with the Pay what you can admission). 

What if I don’t know how to roller skate?

All are welcome. Learn to Skate hours will be offered from 6-7pm or come out and just try!

Can I bring my roller blades?

Roller skates and roller blades are welcome.

Is this event kid-friendly?

Kids ages 0 - 99 are welcome 🙂. Parent(s) and Legal Guardian(s) must sign our waiver for minors under 18 years of age. 

Do I need to show a ticket?

You are not required to show a ticket. We will be checking to see if you have signed the waiver: https://kwfamous.com/waiver 

Where is the lower level garage in the Kitchener Market?

Access the Roller Disco by entering off of Eby Street or Cedar Street. Follow the signs to the garage! 

Where can I park? 

Parking will be available under the awning across from The Yeti and accessed on Eby St.

What is the "Pay what you can" admission used for? 

“Pay what you can” is the admission price and does not include the Roller Skate rentals (run by Retro Rollers). “Pay what you can” admission goes to support artists for this and future events. We are 3 women entrepreneurs that want to make fun community events available to everyone without cost as a barrier.
