The KWFamous Roller Disco was a 4-week pop up that took place in June 2022. Stay tuned for future events by following us on Instagram or subscribing to our newsletter. If you are interested in working with us on future events, contact us.

Pay what you can admission

Everyone deserves to have fun. Pay what you can admission supports the artists that makes this and future events possible. The admission fee does not include the cost of Roller Skate Rentals.

Disco Debut 🕺- June 9

Let’s get the party started with a mix of 70s vibes and today’s pop to kick off the KWFamous Roller Disco! Whether you’re a newbie or want to show off your old-school moves to your kids, all are welcome.

It’s your birthday 🧁- June 16

Happy Birthday to you! Because of the pandemic, we’ve missed a lot of birthday celebrations. On June 16, we invite you to say a big “Happy Birthday” to everyone around. In support of the Kitchener Downtown Community Health Centre and Langs - Cambridge.

Rainbow Disco 🌈 - June 23

Be who you are. Love who you want to. Celebrate PRIDE under the disco rainbow! This night is dedicated to colors galore to celebrate love in all forms. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to OK2BME.

It’s a secret 🤫 - June 30

We're not about to give away all our secrets... but what we can tell you is that June 30 is filled with SURPRISES you are going to love as we celebrate our final roller disco night. 

It takes a community

It's not a KWFamous event unless it's a collaboration with some of our favourite local businesses.

Food: The Crumby Cookie Dough Company

Beats: DJ King Kadeem will be keeping the vibes going all night long 🎵.

New Skaters: Learn to Skate with @aceofsk8 will be available from 6-7pm each week.

Vendors: Weekly Vendors including AM Designer and Abbie Darling.

First Aid: Kitchener First Aid will be on site.

Rule #1: be kind

To attend the event, you must agree be kind as well as fill out our waiver. If you are registering other participants, please be sure to send them the waiver. All attendees (skaters and non-skaters) are required to fill out the waiver. Parent(s) and Legal Guardian(s) must sign for minors under 18 years of age. Waivers will be verified prior to admission.

What is KWFamous?

We’re on a mission to bring pride and a sense of belonging to the community through merch and events (such as the Winter Patio Party) that foster belonging and connection by highlighting creatives and small businesses in KW.
