It's like an Amazing Race, but in a Pandemic. Join our socially-distanced outdoor race! Answer questions, complete challenges, or solve puzzles to receive your next instructions via text message in order to win the prestige title of Local Champion.
1 ticket = 1 team = 2 people ($10 total)
Date: Saturday November 28, 2020
Time: Start anytime after 10am - complete the race by 5pm
Starting Location: Aroma Cafe (inside the Atrium in Uptown Waterloo)
Limited spots available. Early bird pricing ($10 ticket) ends November 24th.
How To Play:
- One phone number per team. You’ll receive a text message at 10:00am on Saturday November 28th. Get your bubble together and head to Aroma Cafe, respond with “Ready” to begin!
- Start any time on Saturday November 28th but you must be completed the race by 5pm to enter to win
- All puzzles will be shown on the store window or outside of Uptown Waterloo businesses – respond via text message to complete the race
What You Need:
- A phone with internet connection (required to upload photos)
- Ability to send text messages in Canada
- A mask (wear inside the Atrium when you get your coffee from Aroma Cafe!)
What's included in your ticket:
- Team entry (1-2 people per team)
- Coffee or Tea (your choice!) from Aroma Cafe
- 2 Lil' Wayne Size Cookie Doughs (a stop on the race) from The Crumby Cookie Dough Company
